Just in time for Christmas the Coca Cola company sent their famous trucks over to Berlin as the last station of a journey which took them all across Germany.

The main event took place at Brandenburg Gate. We didn't attend, but shortly after 8pm the trucks drove up Kurfuerstendamm and naturally came past our house which  gave us the chance to do some seconds of video...

On 10th november 2006 Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf publishers Berlin presented their latest book "The Rolling Stones, Gered Mankowitz, Photos 1965-67" at the Berlin Rock Photo Gallery.

Phototographer Gered Mankowitz, being 19 years old back then, had the chance to tour with the Rolling Stones on their first big tour of the USA back in 1965. His book features pictures from a period when the Stones weren't the biggest Rock'n'Roll band of all times yet, but some group of musicians who sometimes had to wait for their performance in some smelly locker room of some sports arena.

Gered Mankowitz happened to capture some very rare moments which make this photographic documentary some must have for every Rolling Stones fan. For more info check out the website (link)

Our video captures some moments of the opening night on november the 10th which saw Gered Mankowitz as special guest, signing his book and telling some interesting stories from back in the days.

Nitzer Ebb over Berlin = ENergyVlog

Yesterday night, the 4th of november 2006, saw the return of the giants of EBM (Electronic Body Music) - Nitzer Ebb - the masters of Industrial music.

They had a fabulous comeback at the Columbia Club over here in Berlin for their Body of Work tour accompanied by Terrence Fixmer who did one of his fabulous techno sets and Motor who rocked the house in their northern style. After Terrence and Motor had left stage it was time for the masters who electrified the audience from the first second. Douglas McCarthy moving across the stage constantly without a pause which let's you get the impression that Nitzer Ebb are not finished yet and that we might have the chance to see fresh releases in the future.

I could go on talking for hours about this unique experience, about the macs they had on stage and about T.Raumschmiere in the audience - but you better see for yourself...

Warning: If you're not used to this kind of music - better start at a low volume...

Magda at TRESOR Berlin 2004 = ENergyVlog

In july 2004, three quarters of a year ahead of the final closing of world's most famous techno club TRESOR, located at Leipziger Strasse in Berlin/Germany, Magda from the M-nus label did one of her amazing dj set over there.

The video captures parts of her set as well as of the unique atmosphere at Globus Bar in the upper part of the joint. If you watch closely you can spot Richie Hawtin to the left at the beginning of the action...

This is for all who remember those fabulous nights or ever wanted to be there but never had the chance to... 

ENergyVlog = IFA Berlin 2006

From September 1-6 the world's largest Consumer Electronics trade fair with 1,202 exhibitors from 40 countries and 6,900 accredited journalists from 70 countries and last but not least about 250.000 visitors, the IFA aka Internationale Funkausstellung is taking place in Berlin. On the night before the fair an opening party with a huge fireworks as the highlight is taking place. This is the fireworks remix !!!

ENergyVlog = Fixmer/McCarthy at Watergate 2004

Special events require special actions! To celebrate the upcoming concert of Nitzer Ebb on 4th of November 2006 over here in Berlin we release this little video that we wanted to keep private - due to the fact that it's only short snippets of the show Terence Fixmer and Douglas McCarthy did over here in Berlin on the 20th of April 2004 at Club Watergate and that being quite inexperienced when it comes to recording in live situations back then i forgot to charge the batteries :-)

After all it's 2 minutes of pure energy that makes me want to see Nitzer Ebb immediately - sadly enough we'll have to wait till November...

ENergyVlog = Kubik Berlin

Kubik is a temporary installation of 120 illuminated plastic tanks, so called „Big Tanks“, which host an outdoor club from July 14th to September 16th, 2006. The daily electronic music events are organized by Balestra Berlin. The Kubik Club Berlin is located at a factory ruin near the river Spree at Mitte's Köpenicker Strasse #36.
